Question 1

How does locating a phone by SMS work?

Accepted Answer

You enter the number you want to locate and write a personal message. Beeloc immediately sends a text containing your message and a secure tracking link unique to your request. The moment the person opens that link, their position appears on a map in your Beeloc account.

Question 2

Do I need to install an app on the phone I want to locate?

Accepted Answer

No. Beeloc works entirely by SMS: nothing to install, no settings to change and no physical access to the target phone. The service runs fully online, from your browser.

Question 3

Does the person know they are being located?

Accepted Answer

Yes. They receive your text message and have to open the link themselves to share their position — everything depends on that deliberate action. Beeloc is not a tool for tracking people without their knowledge and must not be used that way.

Question 4

Which phones and carriers are supported?

Accepted Answer

All of them. If the phone can receive a text message, it can be located, whatever the brand, model, age of the device or network operator. The service is available in more than 40 countries.

Question 5

How accurate is the location?

Accepted Answer

The position comes from the device's GPS at the moment the link is opened, so it is usually accurate to within a few metres. If GPS is switched off, the position shown is approximate and based on the mobile network or Wi-Fi.

Question 6

What happens if the person never opens the link?

Accepted Answer

No position can be reported until the link has been opened. The request stays visible in your account history and you can send a new one at any time, with a different message if you prefer.

Question 7

What are the reverse phone and username lookups for?

Accepted Answer

They complement the location feature: starting from a phone number or a username, Beeloc gathers the publicly available information associated with it. That is useful to identify where an unknown call came from, or to check a profile before meeting someone or making a deal.

Question 8

How do I find my own lost phone?

Accepted Answer

Send a location request to your own number. Whoever has the device will see the text message and, by opening the link, will share its position with you. Add a message explaining the situation and how to reach you.

Question 9

How much does Beeloc cost, and how does the trial work?

Accepted Answer

A single Premium access covers every Beeloc search. It starts with a 48-hour trial offer and then continues as a monthly subscription with no commitment. The exact amounts are shown on the Pricing page and again before any payment.

Question 10

How do I cancel my subscription?

Accepted Answer

At any time, in a few clicks, from the subscription section of your account area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period and nothing is charged afterwards. Our support team is also reachable at support@beeloc.com.

Question 11

What happens to my data and to the located person's data?

Accepted Answer

Your searches and the positions you receive are kept in your account area and are never sold or rented to third parties. You can request access, correction or deletion at any time by writing to support@beeloc.com. Full details of the processing and retention periods are set out in our privacy policy.
